Liv Ryan is Brooklyn-born and -based artist whose work explores the boundaries between mediums. With a primary focus in clothing design, Liv's knowledge of art, architecture and cooking has played a major role in the investigation of sculptural shapes, structure and subtle texture. Liv produces locally in Brooklyn, NY using sustainable, eco friendly fabrics and dyes.

What is your favorite design book?

I love all the Domus books! They've been around forever and have so many great references to keep going back to - whether it be furniture, art, or architecture, they are inclusive of all aspects of design which is applicable to my own work.

What is your favorite design object?

I have so many favorite objects, however most used in my daily life are my Pierro Lissoni Kartell Chairs! I love the simplicity and originality of the design.
