Robyn Benson is an artist based in rural north-east Scotland. They make sculptures and drawings that explore how all parts of structure form a system of continuous support. The drawings are speculative diagrams/propositions and the sculptures are unfixed, balanced structures that rely the equilibrium of material tension and forces.

Richard Wentworth: Making Do and Getting By, by Hans Ulrich Obrist and Richard Wentworth. Published by Koenig Books, London. The artworks contained in the book are photographs of weird everyday instances that seem to have total logic behind them.
What is your favorite design object?
Rotring cento professional set square - 30 cm. The item used most heavily in my studio and has saved many hours work.
