Berlin, Germany

Born and raised in Germany (b. 1988) into a family of artists and musicians, Fedor Deichmann has been exposed to visual art and its creation since early childhood. As a young boy, he painted landscapes with his father, Felix Deichmann (1936–2010), and eventually developed his own style combining figurative and abstract art. Fedor received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University in 2011, where he also served as a gallery guide at the Yale University Art Gallery. After university, he pursued a decade-long career in the corporate world while continuing to paint in his free time. His commitment to painting gradually intensified, and in April 2021 he decided to pursue painting full-time. Recent exhibitions include a solo show at Palazzo Bembo in Venice, Italy (2022). He currently lives and works in Berlin, Germany.
