The Eclipse Lamp is an experiment in organic form and surface texture. The overall form was carved from pine wood, then painted with four different colors of chalk paint. A combination of colors and textures is achieved by sanding and scraping through the layers of paint to reveal hidden inner layers. Fished with a wax coating and patinaed steel base.
